The purpose of this project is to give our pre-service teachers the opportunity to publish a paper with a 21st Century Technology that enables Creating, Collaborating, and Communicating.
After all, if we are trying to develop into a strong 21st Century teacher, we need to branch out and flex our creative muscles:
Students in EDUC 355 were given the assignment to create a Voicethread using one of the two imaginative narratives on which they worked this semester. The choices were a Fractured Fairy Tale or an imaginative narrative written in a content area on a "Christmas Carol" framework. Students were given little instruction on the technology medium (Voicethread), using their thinking skills to figure out the nuances of the program.
